When the New Empire of Aetheria unexpectedly comes under new rule at the end of the centennial Tournée de Coronae, the leaders of Tartarus are eager to learn what this new Emperor is like. Meanwhile, the new Emperor finds themselves in unknown territory.
As the two largest military powers in the multiverse, the alliance between Tartarus and the New Empire of Aetheria is critical to state of peace. The catch? The fracturing Empire of Aetheria is not what it seems. As that realization slowly dawns on the new Emperor, the other side of this fragile alliance begins to see through the cracks. In this desperate Era, dangerous questions begin to arise: how many armies are building in the shadows? What was the true fate of the First Empire of Aetheria? And, above all, who is truly pulling the multiverse's strings?
