FRACTAL ALLIANCES #4 (1907 E-10)

A single-page, 4-panel, sepia-toned comic featuring a character with two horns and flowing, glowing orange hair (ValPrien, a Talkian soldier) and Evansen Stark (orange bands on arms, hair in a bun). ValPrien is in full armor, Ev is in an undershirt and their under-suit pants and boots. They are at a campsite on the edge of a cliff, backed by forest. A campfire is visible in the background, where Fin Heran and an unnamed female soldier sit.In the first panel, ValPrein tosses a pomagranate in one hand, smiling and shouting cheerfully across a bush to Ev: "Hey Ae'teria! Catch!" In the second panel, the fruit is tossed Ev's way and they say "Okay...?" and mutter "I like free tree fruit, I guess." They catch the fruit. In panel three, Ev considers the fruit as ValPrein explains, "It's a pomagranate. They grow wild here." Panel 4 cuts back to ValPrein, now with crossed arms, as he smirks in challenge. "Throwing one to you means we have to fight," he sneers. In the background, Fin Heran whips around and shouts "VALPREIN, DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!"
